MOLINE, IL. - The Quad City Storm has announced its protected list for the '26-'27 SPHL season. The list consists of 13 players from the club’s 2025-2026 roster whose SPHL rights are retained by the Storm, making them ineligible to sign with other teams in the league.

Players from the 2025-2026 roster who were not protected are eligible to sign with other SPHL teams immediately and may also re-sign with the Storm after July 1.
