MOLINE, IL. – Quad City Storm forward Devin Sanders erupted for five goals in Saturday night’s 8-1 victory over the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, setting a new franchise record for most goals by a player in a single game. The previous record of four goals was held by Matt Ustaski.
Sanders’ five-goal performance also ties the all-time SPHL record for most goals in a single game.
The second-year pro is enjoying a standout 2025–26 campaign, totaling 41 points (24g, 17a) in 45 games played. His 24 goals rank second in the SPHL, while his 41 points are tied for fifth in the league.
In just 58 career games, Devin Sanders has officially inserted his name into the top-10 in career goals scored with the Storm (28), passing forward Filip Virgili.
