Salute to Military Paint the Ice November 4th

MOLINE, IL. – In partnership with IAM Union, Locals 1191, 388, 1010, 1728 and District 6, the Quad City Storm will host the 6th annual Salute to Military Ice Painting Monday November 4th from 9AM-7PM at Vibrant Arena at the Mark ahead of the Storm’s Salute to Military Night game Friday November 8th.

Quad Citizens are invited to come to the arena and paint the names of loved ones who serve or have served in the U.S. armed forces on the ice to honor their service.  The names will remain on the ice for both Storm games November 8th and 9th.  Painting names is free and paint, brushes and all materials will be provided by the Storm.

Salute to Military Night will feature special jerseys honoring the United States Armed Forces. These jerseys will be auctioned after the game to raise money for Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines.
