MOLINE, IL. – The SPHL named Quad City Storm goaltender Brent Moran the Warrior Hockey Player of the Week for December 9-December 15.
Goaltender Brent Moran opened the weekend in impressive fashion stopping 33 of 24 shots faced on Friday night. Moran continued his weekend dominance on Saturday by securing his second shutout of the season with a 39-save effort to complete the sweep of the Pensacola Ice Flyers.
The Orleans, Ontario native looks to, once again, re-write the Quad City Storm record book against the Peoria Rivermen this weekend. After securing the most wins in a single season during the ‘23-’24 season (21), Moran is now one win away from tying Kevin Resop’s franchise leading 28 career wins in a Storm sweater.
