How a Chip Draw Works
This will be a 15-chip draw. 15 chips will be labeled $1 through $15 and placed in a cup. On Thursday February 17th we will go Facebook Live on the Storm Facebook page. In the comments fans will who want to participate will be able to comment the number of chips they would like to purchase. The price of each chip is equivalent to the dollar value it has been labeled with.
Once 15 chips have been claimed, the chips will be drawn from the cup. Below is a theoretical example of how the chip draw could break down:
FAN A comments that they want 4 chips
FAN B comments that they want 1 chip
FAN C comments that they want 7 chips
FAN D comments that they want 3 chips
Now that all 15 chips have been claimed, a Storm staff member will selects the chips.
$5 chip, $11 chip, $2 chip and $14 chip are pulled. This fan will be contacted after the FB live and pay $32.
$10 chip is pulled. This fan will be contacted after the FB live and pay $10.
$15, $8, $9, $1, $12, $7 and $3 chip are pulled. This fan will be contacted after the FB live and pay $55.
$13, $4 and $6 are pulled. This fan will be contacted after the FB live and pay $23
Once all chips have been pulled the Facebook Live will end. Fans who claimed chips will be contacted for payment. Once all payment is collected, the chips will be put back into the cup and a winner will be pulled. The drawing will be recorded and the winner will be contacted the next day.
Should a fan choose not, or be unable, to provide payment, they will be banned from further chip draws and their chips will be made available for purchase to fans who did not comment in time on the original FB live post.
