Cam Lowe Returns to School to Finish Classes

Mar 16, 2026

MOLINE, IL - The Quad City Storm announced today that forward Cam Lowe will step away from the team for the remainder of the '25-'26 SPHL season in order to complete his academic coursework.

Lowe will return to school in order to finish his classes and graduate from Wilkes University. This is an important step in his development both on and off the ice. The Quad City Storm fully supports his decision and is proud of his commitment to his education. Storm Head Coach, Shayne Toporowski says, "We'll miss having [Cam] out on the ice, but we wish him nothing but the best as he finishes his classes. We can't wait to have Cam back in the Quad Cities as a full-time Storm player next season!"

The Lancaster, Massachusetts native made an instant impact in his first four professional games, scoring 2 goals, including a goal in his professional debut and an overtime GWG on Saturday, March 13th.
