Hockey Fights Cancer Paint the Ice February 3rd

MOLINE, IL. – In partnership with UnityPoint Health - Trinity, the Quad City Storm will host the 6th annual Hockey Fights Cancer Ice Painting Monday February 3rd from 9AM-7PM at Vibrant Arena at the Mark ahead of the Storm’s Hockey Fights Cancer game Saturday February 8th.

Quad Citizens are encouraged to come to the arena and paint the names of loved ones who have battled or are currently battling cancer on the ice.  The names will remain on the ice for all three Storm home games of the weekend.  Painting names on the ice is free and paint, brushes and all materials will be provided. UnityPoint Health Cancer Center, Trinity Health Foundation leaders and Storm team president Brian Rothenberger will be available to media on the day of the event from 12-2 PM.
