MOLINE, IL - This holiday season, the Quad City Storm is calling on fans and community members to help make a meaningful impact. During next weekend’s home games, the organization will host a three-day canned goods drive benefiting the Quad Cities community in partnership with River Bend Food Bank.
Donation stations will be available at all arena entrances during each of the three games taking place December 12 - December 14. Fans attending any of the weekend matchups are encouraged to bring non-perishable canned goods to support people experiencing hunger in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. All contributions will go directly to River Bend Food Bank to help stock shelves and support hunger-relief efforts throughout the Quad Cities.
Most Requested Items Include:
Canned Fruits and Vegetables
Canned Tuna and Chicken
Peanut Butter and Jelly
