Taylor Pryce Announces His Retirement from Professional Hockey

MOLINE, IL – Quad City Storm captain Taylor Pryce has officially announced his retirement from professional hockey. Pryce played in 139 games with the Storm, tallying 40 goals and 52 assists in his three seasons in the Quad Cities. 

After four seasons at Buffalo State College, Pryce played in 253 SPHL games and scored 62 goals, 71 assists and accumulated 466 penalty minutes.  Over the course of his career, the Newmarket, Ontario native developed a reputation for his hard-nosed, high energy style of play.

“I want to thank coach Dave Pzsenyczny and John Dawson for believing in me and bringing me in four years ago.” Pryce said.

Pryce spent the past two seasons as the Storm captain, a role that he carried with pride.

 “Thank you to all of my teammates from the past four years. it has been an absolute honor playing with you boys.”
